Partnership with Carter Center to Plan African Program.

Sasakawa Africa Association receives a grant of US$400,000 from The Carter Center, its long-time partner in the Sasakawa-Global 2000 agricultural program in Africa.

The grant is to plan a large scale extension project in Ethiopia, Mali, northern Nigeria and Uganda. The Carter Center is a grantee of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
